Summit Environmental’s history was shaped by experienced professionals whose technical leadership, fieldwork, and commitment to clients helped build the company’s longstanding reputation.
Brad Harr is one of the founders. He brought more than 39 years of environmental science experience to Summit Environmental. His expertise included environmental site assessments, regulatory compliance, contaminant characterization, building science, microbial evaluations, and hazardous-site remediation. He also managed major UST, RCRA, and Superfund projects and held advanced credentials in environmental science, industrial hygiene, microbial consulting, and healthy homes.
As one of the founders of Summit Environmental, Michael “Mike” Larango brought more than 29 years of environmental and building-science experience to Summit Environmental. His expertise included building inspections, environmental site assessments, fungal and microbial evaluations, groundwater monitoring, hazardous-waste management, UST decommissioning, and air, soil, and waste sampling. He is emergency-response trained and holds certifications as a Real Estate Inspector and Microbial Investigator.
